Cmde K Srinivas, NM, VSM was commissioned in the Indian Navy on 25 Aug 1982. During his distinguished service, he has held various important appointments, the most notable being DNA (P) – EOI (MOS CO W), EO-INS Aditya, DGM – ND (MB) and DGM - SBC. He is presently the Commanding Officer of INS Shivaji, the premier technical establishment of the Indian Navy. The Commodore has successfully completed the Naval Higher Command Course at the College of Naval Warfare , M Sc. (Def Studies) at DSSC, Wellington and M Tech from IIT, Delhi . He has been decorated with the Nausena Medal and Vishisht Seva Medal for his yeoman service.
